Bajaj Dominar To Be Launched In Red And Gold Colours

- Bajaj will offer more new colours on the Dominar for 2018
- The Dominar is Bajaj's flagship motorcycle
- There will be no mechanical changes
We never knew that Bajaj identifies its flagship bike, the Dominar, with Marvel's Iron Man! Confused? We only think so because Bajaj is all set to give the Dominar a new colour scheme of red and gold as seen in these spyshots. And if you are big fan of Iron Man movies, then you will remember that Iron Man's armour is done in red and gold too. While Iron Man looks quite good in his red and gold armour, we are still trying to determine whether it looks good on the Dominar or not.

From what we hear, Bajaj will launch the new colour as early as next month and in fact the company could also offer even more colours on the Dominar such as Blue with golden wheels and black with golden wheels. Bajaj has had a decent 2017 and from the looks of it, they are gearing up for 2018 by first offering new, interesting colours for the Dominar. But apart from that, the Dominar will remain the same as far as mechanicals are concerned. It will be getting the same 373 cc single-cylinder engine which makes 34 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 35 Nm at 6,500 rpm with a six-speed gearbox doing the job of transferring the power to the wheels.

Currently, the Bajaj Dominar gets an LCD instrumentation console, optional ABS and an LED headlamp. We expect Bajaj to charge a small premium for the dual-tone colour scheme (the one with golden wheels) of up to Rs. 5,000 or so over the regular colours. At present, the Dominar can be bought in four colours, which are matte black, moon white, midnight blue and twilight plum.
