Bajaj Pulsar 200SS Spied in India; Launching Soon

Highlights
It's no secret that Bajaj Auto is planning to launch as many 6 six new bikes in India this year. Out of the six bikes, the Pulsar 200SS could be the first one to hit Indian shores. In fact, the company has started the bike's production at its facility in Pimpri, Pune. The fact that the company has also begun testing it here, and a production-ready version of the bike has been recently spotted in Kolkata further assures us that the launch is just round the corner.
Just so you know, the Pulsar 200SS is based on the Pulsar NS200, but shares its design with the Pulsar SS 400 concept, which was showcased at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo. Powering this fully-faired motorcycle will be the same 199.5cc engine that is also found in the Pulsar NS200. This engine is capable of churning out a maximum power output of 23bhp and 18Nm of peak torque.
Talking about its design, the Pulsar 200SS features twin projector head-lamps, clip-on handlebar, a small-side slung exhaust, split seat, and a NS200 - inspired fuel-tank and plastic splatter guard.
Likely to be priced around Rs 1.1 lakh - Rs 1.2 lakh, the Pulsar 200SS will take on the likes of KTM RC200 and Yamaha R15.
