But when modern two-wheelers hit the Indian roads, most of the classic ones were discontinued. Luckily, these renowned two-wheelers are back by popular demand, and are ready to make you fall in love with them all over again.

Bajaj Chetak introduced affordable means of transportation to several Indian households. The scooter was based on the Italian Vespa sprint which was replaced by a new in-house design around 1980. The words “Humara Bajaj” come to mind like a cherished childhood memory for many. Due to rising competition, Bajaj Auto discontinued manufacturing the legendary two-wheeler. On 16th October 2019, Bajaj Auto re-entered the scooter market with a newly revamped Chetak in the EV form. The Chetak EV comes in many colour options and with exciting features. Its base variant is priced at Rs.1 lakh and the Premium variant at Rs. 1.15 lakh.

Jawa was a Czech motorcycle which was imported to India by the company Ideal Jawa. Later, the company sold licensed motorcycles under the brand name Jawa in the 1960's and Yezdi after 1973. The two-wheeler had a cult following all over the world for being rugged, simple and unbreakable. The company stopped production in India due to stricter emission norms and growing competition. Jawa entered the list of recently revived two-wheelers in 2018, under the company Classic Legends, a subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra.
