Hyundai To Showcase An All-New Model At The Frankfurt Motor Show 2019

- The new Hyundai car has been designed for the European market
- Not much has been revealed about the upcoming mystery Hyundai model
- The upcoming model could be a hatchback or a crossover
Hyundai Motor Company has recently dropped a new teaser announcing an all-new model. Set to make its global debut at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show 2019, this September, Hyundai has said that the new car has been designed for the European market. The company has revealed no other detail about this upcoming mystery Hyundai model, not even its body type. However, the company did say that it "will invite customers to "go big" with the newcomer, offering new exterior and interior design, as well as new connectivity and safety features which will make it a leader in its class."
While Hyundai remains secretive about this product, even the teaser doesn't reveal much about this upcoming model. The only thing we could tell by looking at it is that this particular image appears to the rear section of the car, particularly, the C-pillar area, as indicated by the partially visible wraparound taillamp. We certainly also see indications of a floating roof design here, along with some dynamic lines and smooth curves. Even the taillights seem to be pretty close to the door cut out, which hints at the possibility of the car having a short rear, in fact, we suspect this upcoming model could be a hatchback or a crossover.
While it's too early to say anything, considering the fact the newly launched Hyundai Venue will not be going to Europe, this new model could very well be the subcompact SUV's European counterpart. If that's the car, the new car will be positioned under the Kona compact SUV, which has been a very successful model in Europe. Knowing Hyundai, we'll certainly get more information about this mystery model in the form of teasers as we get closer to the Frankfurt Motor Show, so keep watching his space.
