Lamborghini Urus Production Crosses The 20,000 Unit Mark

- Urus crosses 20,000 unit production milestone in just 4 years
- It is Lamborghini's fastest selling model to date
- Last 5,000 units manufactured in a little under one year.
The Lamborghini Urus has continued to sell in numbers with Lamborghini now announcing the rollout of unit number 20,000 in June 2022. The carmaker had in July last year announced the roll out of unit number 15,000 meaning that the carmaker has shifted 5,000 units of its super SUV in the last 12 months. Even more impressive is that this milestone comes in just 4 years with the Huracan having only achieved similar numbers after in an eight-year period. The 20,000th unit, a Viola Mithras finished Urus rolled of the production line on June 7 and is bound for its owner in Azerbaijan.
undefined20,000 Urus models delivered in only 4 years since its launch. An ultra-stylish design, irresistibly lavish interior and outstanding performance were the keys to this record-breaking success.#Lamborghini

“From the first moment we presented the Urus concept at Beijing motor show in 2012, to its market debut in 2018 and each year since, the Urus has proved its instant and continued appeal as a true Lamborghini, born from our super sports heritage and the world's first Super SUV, the LM 002,” said Stephan Winkelman, Automobili Lamborghini Chairman and CEO.
Globally the Urus was Lamborghini's best-selling model in the last calendar year accounting for more than half of the company's overall sales. Of the 8,405 units the company delivered in the last calendar year, the super SUV accounted for 5,021 units.

The 15,000th unit of the Urus rolled out of the factory in July last year.
The Urus has also provided a fillip to Lamborghini's sales in India. The carmaker announced the delivery of its 100th Urus in the country in 2021 with overall sales of the brand crossing 400 units earlier this year. The last 100 units were sold between September 2021 and March 2022.
Since its global launch the Urus has also gone on to rack up some achievements such as setting a new speed record for ice-driving on Russia's Lake Baikal and navigating through Umling La pass in Ladakh at 19,300 ft the highest motorable road in the world
