While the two wheeler maker kept the upcoming scooter under wraps, leaked images of the Grazia made their way online revealing a great deal about Honda's all-new offering. As bookings for the new Grazia open today across all Honda dealerships in the country, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has shared the first official teaser of the promising new offering. The Grazia is expected to be a 125 cc scooter and will be sold alongside the Activa 125. The new scooter can be booked for a token amount of Rs. 2000.

The teaser image shows the front apron on the upcoming Honda Grazia. The scooter gets a dual headlamps with a dual-tone paint scheme, while the styling is edgy and sharp, keeping the young customer base in mind. The scooter also comes with an analog instrument cluster with a digital display while there are clever storage spaces and a USB charging socket too. Honda promises an all-new scooter with several segment first features. However, the company is yet to reveal the complete features list on the model.
However, from the first images of the scooter, we know that the new Honda Grazia will feature front disc brake with Combi-Braking System (CBS), large turn indicators, alloy wheels and lots of fibre components. The first impressions are that of a sportier Honda Dio, but we do expect more than just that on the all-new offering.

With respect to power, the Honda Grazia is expected to borrow the 125 cc single-cylinder unit from the Activa 125. The motor makes 8.52 bhp at 5600 rpm and and 10.54 Nm of peak torque available at 5000 rpm. On the Grazia, however, the engine is expected to be peppier thanks to the lighter kerb weight on the scooter.
Honda 2Wheelers India promised four new launches this year, of which the Cliq entry-level scooter, Africa Twin and the 2017 CBR1000RR Fireblade series. The Honda Grazia then, is the fourth new offering from the manufacturing and should help retain momentum in the growing scooter segment, a space Honda already rules.
