New Hyundai Verna Facelift Coming to India?

The Korean automajor, Hyundai is planning to launch the 2014 Solaris (Known as Verna in several markets) in the Russian market soon. If reports are to be believed the trial production of the facelifted model has been successfully completed and the first batch of cars have already been developed.
What makes this an important news for us is the fact that India is a very important market for Hyundai, and Verna that has recently lost its peak position to Honda City in the mid-sized sedan segment, needs an update sooner than later. So, in my opinion, when Hyundai is already selling the car in China and Russia will soon get it, launching it here should not be a problem. Also, the Verna Fluidic has largely remain unchanged in terms of design ever since its launch in 2011, so a mid-life makeover should certainly be on cards for Hyundai India. However, Hyundai hasn't yet officially said anything on this.

Since the Russian model of the car is likely to be similar to the Chinese version, expect the car to have project headlamps with integrated daytime running LEDs, a new chrome grille, new fog lights, new bumpers, new real lamps, and new fog lights on the rear bumper. Interior of the car is might remain largely unchanged except for some new add-ons like new audio system and leather trims.

Since, it will be a mid-life makeover, so the car should retain the existing engine and transmission options.
