New Suzuki Swift Facelift Launched in UK; Coming to India Soon
Highlights
Suzuki, the Japanese carmaker, rolled out the 2014 Swift facelift in the UK two days back. The vehicle receives minor design and feature updates, though it looks more or less similar to the previous model. The company is also planning to bring the facelifted Swift to India, which will be similar to the European version in terms of styling.
The minor specification upgrades to the European Swift aka the SZ4 includes LED daytime running lights and front fog lights. Furthermore, it also gets a gear shift indicator to help aid fuel efficiency and a Tyre Pressure Monitor System (TPMS) for added driver safety.

The SZ4 now also gets navigation and DAB digital radio as standard provisions in addition to existing features like automatic air conditioning, electric rear windows, rear privacy glass (five door models), push button keyless start, automatic headlamps, cruise control and heated mirrors with integrated turn indicators.
The India-bound Swift facelift might not be offered with all the features offered in Europe, but the design elements will be quite similar to the version sold there. We expect the Indian Swift to get the L-Shaped LEDs, revised fog lamps and bumper with silver detailing. The top-end variant of the car might also feature a new set of alloy wheels, while the non-alloyed trims are likely to get new wheel covers. The top-end variant may also get a new Boost Blue metallic shade.
