Ola Electric has been facing flak on social media both for delay in the deliveries of the electric scooters, as well as customers being unable to test ride the new electric scooters. In September 2021, Ola Electric announced that the company had sold scooters worth Rs. 1,100 crore, and while deliveries were expected to begin in October this year, the company has been postponing the delivery date sighting various challenges. This has agitated customers who still haven't got a chance to test ride the electric scooter.
