Renault Dacia Reveals Duster Facelift at Goodwood Festival of Speed

- There are a few cosmetic changes to the exterior and the interior
- A new 1.2-litre engine has also been introduced for the 2017 Dacia Duster
- It is already on sale in European automotive markets
Even though the Duster recently received a facelift in India along with an AMT variant, Dacia, A Romanian company and a subsidiary brand of Renault and the original manufacturer of the Duster unveiled a facelifted version of the Dacia Renault Duster at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK.
(Renault Dacia Duster rear)Dacia has given quite a few updates to the Duster on the outside and inside as well. The front end is slightly different to the Renault Duster that model that sells in India currently. The headlamps are more 'squarish' and the grille is similar to that of the Kwid, with its chrome chain link design. Under the chrome chain link grille sits a mesh frame that is again different from the model on sale in India which gets a silver skidplate of sorts.
At the rear, the look remains more or less the same, except for the design of the tail lamp cluster, which is different on the models sold in India.
(Renault Dacia Duster Dashboard)There is a lot of change to interiors as new trim levels have been added along with more equipment. The Dacia Renault Duster now gets DAB Radio along with a carbon-finish look to the dashboard. There is also a satin chrome surround around the centre console, which looks premium. Some of the other optional equipment includes 16-inch 'Tyrol' diamond-cut alloy wheels along with reverse-parking camera and a variety of trim options for the interior as well.
The most significant update is the 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine which pumps out 125bhp and 205Nm of torque. All versions of the new Duster can be specified with two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. The new range of the Dacia Renault Duster is available for sale in European countries.
