Spider-Man Tom Holland Brings Home The Porsche Taycan Turbo S

British actor Tom Holland is a heartthrob the world over and the star surely knows how to swing from one character to another. Holland has been a part of many hit movies, most notably, the Spider-Man franchise in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and more recently starred in the Uncharted movie based on the video game of the same name. However, what many don't know is that Holland likes his cars as much as movies, and his latest acquisition has seen him go electric, that too in style. Holland recently announced buying the new Porsche Taycan Turbo S, sharing a monochrome image on his Instagram handle.

Tom has bought the top-spec Porsche Taycan Turbo S variant that retails at Rs. 2.13 crore (ex-showroom) in India. The Taycan Turbo S is a sports saloon and the most powerful sports car in the Porsche portfolio at present. The electric supercar develops 750 bhp and 1050 Nm of peak torque with power coming from two permanent-magnet synchronous (PMS) motors. The four-door electric supercar can sprint from 0-100 kmph in 2.8 seconds and has a top speed of 260 kmph. Powering the electric motors is the massive 93.4 kWh battery on the Taycan with a range between 390-416 km (WLTP Cycle) on a single charge.

Tom isn't new to fast or luxurious cars but this is his first Porsche and also his first electric. The actor also owns the Audi RS7 Sportback, Audi Q7, and the Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge. His last film in the Spider-Man franchise was 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' released in 2021 and broke new records for Marvel Studios, while also taking over the internet with multiverse and pop culture references.

On the work front, Holland will star in the anthology series The Crowded Room that will stream on Apple TV+. He will also play the role of Pino Lella in Beneath a Scarlet Sky series, based on the novel of the same name by Mark Sullivan. Holland is also confirmed to play the role of actor and dancer Fred Astaire in his biopic.
