Two-Wheeler Sales February 2018: Bajaj Records Positive Growth of 23 Per Cent

- Bajaj sold 175,489 units domestically in February 2018
- The company also exported 122,025 units in February 2018
- Its overall sales for Febuary 2018 were 297,514 units
Bajaj had a good month in February 2018 as far as domestic sales are concerned. The Pune-based manufacturer registered sales of 1, 75,489 units in February 2018, which is a growth of 23 per cent vis-a-vis February 2017, where the company sold 1, 42,287 units. Speaking about exports, the company exported 1, 22,025 units in February 2018 as compared to 102,671 units exported in February 2018. This is a growth of 19 per cent. The company sold a total of 2, 97,514 units in February 2018 (Domestic+Exports) which is an increase of 21 per cent as compared to February 2017 where the company sold 2,44, 958 units.
For the time period of April 2017 - February 2018, the company sold 1,815,590 units which is 2 per cent less than what it sold between April 2016 - February 2017, with 1,849,942 units sold. Bajaj exported 1,283,805 units in the same time period which is April 2017 - February 2018 which is 14 per cent more than 1,125,755 units that the company sold in the corresponding time period last year.
