Honda that has recently inaugurated its 200th dealership in India, is aiming to take its dealership number to 230 in 150 cities by March 2015. Moreover, the company is planning to add 100 new dealers in the next 16 months by March 2016. The company's focus will be smaller cities.
Mr. Jnaneswar Sen, Sr. Vice President, Marketing and Sales said, "We are thankful to our customers for the great response we have achieved for our cars. We launched the new City and the Mobilio in 2014 and both models have done very well in their respective segments. Honda Amaze has also established itself as the preferred family sedan for more than 1 lakh customers in India.
"The demand for our models is quite strong and we have been bucking the industry de-growth by posting good sales. This fiscal year is going to be our 3rd consecutive year of positive growth.", he further added.
