Hyundai at 2014 Geneva Motor Show

Hyundai Motor has unveiled its new concept car Intrado and its new executive sedan Genesis to a global audience at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. Intrado signifies Hyundai's next level of of design and also says that this is their vision on how cars will meet future mobility needs.
The concept car is powered by a hydrogen fuel cell power-train that utilizes a 36KW lithium ion battery and this also shows the company's need or desire to produce lighter and stronger car that gives better driving dynamics and more responsive car. The key inspiration behind the Intrado concept comes from aeronautics and harnessing the power of air flow to create more efficiency, Intrado means the underside area of an aircraft's wing that creates lift. The concept looks agile and Hyundai has also proved a point in constructing a light weight car. The car looks like a compact cross over and is powered by a hydrogen fuel cell.

Hyundai Genesis is powered by a potent 3.8-litre V6 GDI engine with a 8-speed automatic transmission. Hyundai will invest $500 billion over four years and the car is primarily designed for USA and Korean market and will be produced at the Hyundai's Ulsan production plant in Korea. Hyundai did showcase its future designs in these two cars the fludic structure styling has definitely caught attention at the on going Geneva Motor show. However will Hyundai go aggressive by launching them in India as well? We hope if not with these two cars at least Hyundai brings this design language in its future cars in India.
