Volkswagen Group celebrates 40 years of the Golf with a special edition concept

The Volkswagen Group is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Golf and what better way to do it than by introducing the new Golf Edition concept. The German car manufacturer unveiled the car at the Beijing Motorshow.

The concept features a bespoke Magic Morning exterior that showcases a "striking golden shimmer depending on the angle of vision." Then there are the matte chrome mirror caps and the exclusive 19-inch alloy wheels.

The exterior tweaks are not much but the interiors have received a good dose of elegance. There are the two-tone leather sport seats with diamond pattern stitching and the genuine wood trim, piano black accents and illuminated door sill plates.

The Golf has been the centre of attention at the Beijing Motorshow and why not, it deserves every bit of the attention.
