At the heart of the 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is the same tried and tested 1.4-litre petrol engine and a 1.3-litre DDiS diesel SHVS engine. While the petrol mill will churn out 91 bhp, the diesel engine will give a max power output of 89 bhp. Transmission options consist of a 5-Speed manual gearbox for both the engines and a 4-Speed torque converter for petrol engine. We also expect Maruti Suzuki to provide an AMT version for the diesel engine.
