Bipul Chandra, Managing Director - Ducati India said, "The XDiavel range was the result of our efforts to bring two universes together. We wanted to build a bike that offered the comfort of the cruiser and the performance of a sport-focused bike. XDiavel has wowed and attracted massive following all over the world and offers a wholesome riding experience in an incredibly attractive looking package. The XDiavel is the perfect supplement to the existing Diavel range yet offers a lot more 'devil' both, inside & out. I am delighted that the XDiavel Black Star and XDiavel Dark are finally here as India has a big community of riders who love cruisers, and I am sure they will appreciate a cruiser that serves a unique flavour of comfort and pure, unadulterated performance."
The 2021 Ducati XDiavel Black Star gets the new grey and matte black paint scheme with touches of red. The bright red paint also extends to the engine cover, while the seat is covered in high-grip suede fabric. The bike also gets forged and anodised frame plates, blacked-out finish on the engine with matte black aluminium belt covers, billet aluminium rearview mirrors and smartphone connectivity.
The Black Star gets adjustable 50 mm USD forks with DLC treatment upfront, machined forged rims that are painted in gloss black and help shed about 2 kg from the kerb weight. The Black Star also gets more powerful 320 mm semi-floating twin discs with Brembo M50 radial mono-bloc calipers. The model also gets the Ducati Multimedia System (DMS) as standard, along with LED headlamps and DRLs.

The 2021 Ducati XDiavel Dark gets an all-black look and rides on die-cast alloy wheels
With the Ducati XDiavel Dark, the bike gets a new matte black paint job, which extends to the mechanical components, plates and finishes all over the motorcycle. The Dark edition uses the same cycle parts as the Black Star barring the die-cast alloy wheels, instead of the machine forged rims. The brake caliper is changed with the Dark that comes with a Brembo M4.32 radial mono-bloc unit.
Power on the Ducati XDiavel Black Star and Dark comes from the same 1262 cc twin-cylinder Ducati Testrastretta DVT engine that develops 158 bhp at 9500 rpm and 127.4 Nm of peak torque at 5000 rpm. The motor is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike comes with a host of electronic aids including an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), Ducati Traction Control (DTC), cornering ABS, cruise control, Ducati Power Launch and multiple riding modes.

Ducati India is offering the bike with a 2 years/unlimited km warranty with maintenance intervals of 15,000 km. The cruiser features an 18-litre fuel tank.
