2022 Audi Q7 Facelift Launched In India; Prices Begin From Rs. 79.99 Lakh

- The Audi Q7 facelift is offered in 2 trims - Premium Plus and Technology.

The 2022 Audi Q7 facelift has been launched in India after a hiatus of two years and its prices begin from Rs. 79.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant, going up to Rs. 88.33 lakh for the range-topping trim. The German brand had discontinued its flagship SUV in 2020 and it has now returned with bolder looks, updated cabin, more features and a BS6 compliant engine under its hood. Audi India is offering the new Q7 facelift in two variants - Premium Plus and Technology. It comes to India as a completely knocked down (CKD) unit and it will be manufactured at Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Pvt Ltd.'s (SAVWIPL) plant in Aurangabad.

The new Audi Q7 looks bolder and muscular than its predecessor.
The new Audi Q7 facelift is quite a departure from the pre-facelift model in terms of looks. The new model has a more macho and outdoorsy demeanour rather than a sophisticated business class appeal. The face particularly looks bold courtesy the massive grille with wide chrome slats. It is flanked by full LED headlights that are standard, while customers also have the option of the HD Matrix LED technology with Audi laser light. The SUV also get larger intakes, new alloy wheels, new sleeker LED taillights and sharper bumpers.

The Audi Q7 facelift gets an updated cabin and more features.
On the inside too the new Audi Q7 facelift is a decent step up than its predecessor and takes inspiration from the Q8's cabin. It now features two new large touchscreens that provide haptic and acoustic feedback and the system also comes with LTE Advanced connectivity, a Wi-Fi hotspot, natural voice control and the extensive Audi connect portfolio. The SUV also comes with a new steering wheel and premium upholstery among a host of other creature comforts.

At the rear, the new Audi Q7 gets sleeker tailights and sharper bumper.
Powering the Q7 facelift a 3.0-litre TFSI, V6 petrol engine that belts out 335 bhp and 500 Nm of peak torque, and it comes mated to an eight-speed Tiptronic gearbox and the Quattro AWD system as standard. Like the new Q5, the Q7 will get a mild-hybrid system, featuring a 48-volt electric motor, powered by a Lithium-Ion battery, and a belt alternator starter (BAS). The SUV can go from 0-100 kmph in under 5.9 seconds. In our market, the new Audi Q7 will rival the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLS, BMW X7, Volvo XC90 and Land Rover Discovery.
