2022 BMW F 750 GS, F 850 GS Revealed


- BMW F 750 GS, F 850 GS get new colour schemes
- There are no changes to engine specifications or features
- Likely to be launched in India before the year ends
BMW Motorrad took the wraps off the 2022 F 750 GS and the F 850 GS. These two motorcycles were on sale in India earlier, but had to be temporarily discontinued once the BS6 emission norms came into force. For 2022, the changes on the motorcycles are limited to new colour schemes and discontinuation of the old ones but the good news is that BMW is likely to re-launch the F 750 GS and the F 850 GS in India before the year ends.

(The 2022 F 850 GS gets a new triple black colour scheme)
The BMW F 750 GS and the F 850 GS get a new triple black colour scheme along with hand protectors that come as standard. The '40 years of GS' colour scheme has been discontinued for both motorcycles. The F 850 GS Adventure also gets a new triple black colour scheme along with a new light white option too. The '40 years of GS' colour scheme and the black storm metallic with ice grey option has been discontinued.

(The 2022 F 750 GS too gets a new triple black colour scheme)
Both motorcycles get the same 853 cc parallel-twin engine as before which is now Euro V compliant. The F 750 GS makes 76.4 bhp at 7,500 rpm along with 83 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The F 850 GS and the GS Adventure make 94 bhp at 8,250 rpm along with 92 Nm at 6,250 rpm. All three motorcycles get a 6-speed gearbox. The F 750 GS is a road-oriented touring machine while the F 850 GS comes with spoked wheels and more equipment for off-roading. The F 850 GS Adventure gets even more equipment like a bigger fuel tank, off-road biased tyres and a longer list of electronic riding aids.
