In fact, the first thing we notice about the car is the colour, followed by other features. Picking a perfect colour for your car is very crucial. In the last couple of years, more and more manufacturers are adding a lot of vibrant colour options to their palette, to match the requirements of modern customers. Today most cars have that one signature colour that helps them stand out, and here we take a look at some of the popular cars and their signature colours.

The Harbour Blue colour is available on the premium hatchback from XM+ trim and upwards.
Tata Altroz iTurbo - Harbour Blue
The Altroz iTurbo is the most powerful premium hatchback that the Indian carmaker has ever made. The turbocharged model went on sale earlier this year featuring a new Harbour Blue colour with a contrast black roof. The signature colour adds a sense of freshness to the overall design of the car, which is available on the car from XM+ variant. Apart from this shade, the hatchback can be had in four other colours - High Street Gold, Downtown Red, Midtown Grey, Avenue White. It is available only in 3 variants - XT, XZ, and the XZ+.

The Tata Safari's Tropial Mist signature colour is limited to XZ+ and XZA+ trims.
Tata Safari Adventure - Tropial Mist
The Tata Safari made a comeback in the Indian market earlier this year as a modern SUV loaded with new technology and features. The flagship SUV is offered in about 7 variants - XE, XM, XT, XT+, XZ, XZ+ and XZ+ Adventure Persona. An interesting addition to the Safari's lineup is the Adventure Persona variants that are based on the top-of-the-line XZ+ and XZA+ trims. These variants come with a distinct 'Tropial Mist' colour. Do note, other variants of the SUV are also available in three exciting shades - Royal Blue, Daytona Grey and Orcus White.

Maruti Suzuki S-Presso - Sizzle Orange
The tallboy design and boxy shape of the Maruti S-Presso is well complemented by its signature Sizzle Orange body colour. This bold and bright jazzy orange shade really makes the car stand out from the crowd. Apart from this jazzy orange, the entry-level hatchback can be had in five other shades - Silky Silver, White, Starry Blue, Fire Red, Granite Grey.

The signature Fiery Red shade further emphasises the overall aesthetics and bold styling elements of the i20.
Hyundai i20 - Fiery Red
The new-generation i20 hatchback is one of the hot-selling products from Hyundai ever since it went on sale in November 2020. The premium hatchback is now bolder, feature-loaded and powerful than the previous model. The i20 comes with a new design that stands out. The signature Fiery Red shade further emphasises the overall aesthetics and bold styling elements of the car. It is also available in five other colour options to choose from - Typhoon Silver, Titan Grey, Metallic Copper, Starry Night, Polar White.

The EV is also available in two other shades - Ferris White and Currant Red.
MG ZS EV - Copenhagen Blue
The MG ZS EV is the only electric offering from the Chinese-owned British carmaker for the Indian market. It is one of the feature-loaded electric SUV in India. Another interesting highlight of the EV is the Copenhagen Blue shade that can really make heads turn. The EV is also available in two other shades - Ferris White and Currant Red.

Kia India also offers the subcompact SUV in three dual-tone colour options
Kia Sonet - Beige Gold
The refreshed Sonet SUV went on sale in India last month. It now comes with the brand's new logo. The made-in-India continues to boast a bold design that is complemented by its signature Beige Gold colour. The South Korean automaker offers the SUV in eight mono-tone - Intense Red, Aurora Black Pearl, Gravity Grey, Steel Silver, Intelligency Blue, Glacier White Pearl and Clear White. Buyers also get to choose dual-tone colours from Intense Red/Aurora Black Pearl, Beige Gold/Aurora Black and Glacier White Pearl/Aurora Black Pearl.

The new Jeep Compass SUV is offered in seven exciting colour options
Jeep Compass - Techno Metallic Green
The new Jeep Compass facelift was launched in India earlier this year. The SUV now comes with a host of visual updates including a new Techno Metallic Green body colour. The new dark green shade elevates the updated design and styling of the SUV. There are seven colours on offer, out of which, Techno Metallic Green, Galaxy Blue and Bright White are all new. The remaining colours are Brilliant Black, Exotica Red, Grigio Magnesio Grey and Minimal Grey.
