Actor Salman Khan Goes Riding In Leh On The Royal Enfield Classic 350

- Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez were riding the RE Classic 350
- Royal Enfield bikes are the preferred choice for the Leh Ladakh tour
- Salman Khan is known to be an avid rider
They say Leh Ladakh and Royal Enfield motorcycles are inseparable, and certainly actor Salman Khan too was caught by the riding bug in one of the most aspirational riding destinations of India. Salman Khan and actor Jacqueline Fernandez are currently in Leh for the shoot of their upcoming movie Race 3 and were spotted enjoying a bike ride on the Royal Enfield Classic 350. The actors were reportedly on the way back after paying a visit to Kargil, which remains one of the harder to access regions in the country. Prior to the bike ride, Salman Khan and the Race 3 crew were also seen driving around in a Polaris ATV.

While a convoy has surrounded the bike, both the actors can be seen on the white Royal Enfield Classic 350 with Salman Khan behind the handlebar and is wearing a helmet. That receives a huge thumbs up from us, given the actor was rarely seen in any riding gear, in some of his viral videos in the past. However, we do urge Jacqueline to choose to wear a helmet even when riding as a pillion next time. No compromises on safety, please.

Apparently, Race 3 is being shot in the Sonmarg, Jammu and Kashmir, while Kargil is a good 130 km away from the region. The route is anything but easy and even crosses the treacherous Zoji La pass, which remains snow covered for a good part of the year. So, it's not really a smart thing to not wear any riding gear on this route.

That said, Salman Khan is known to be a bike aficionado and has owned a number of exotics in the past. The actor has had the Yamaha YZF-R1, Suzuki Hayabusa and the Suzuki GSX-R1000 in the past. He was even the brand ambassador of Suzuki Motorcycle India and was gifted a Suzuki Intruder M1800 by the manufacturer.
Meanwhile, Royal Enfield bikes are most common in the Leh Ladakh region; and preferred by long distance riders too. The Classic 350 is the Indian bike maker's bestselling model and offers a classic design language coupled with abundant low-end torque. The no-frills built on RE bikes make them easy to repair and ride in the region. Riding to Ladakh is on the bucket list of every motorcyclist, and the riding season for this season will open up by late next month.
