Anand Mahindra Shares Stewart-Haas Racing's NASCAR With Mahindra Tractors Livery, Says 'Ready To Rum

Mahindra Tractors, a sub-division of Mahindra North America sponsors the Stewart-Haas Racing team in NASCAR with its livery running across the team's race-spec Ford Mustang. While we saw sketches of the livery late last year, Anand Mahindra - Chairman, Mahindra Group, recently shared a video of the competition-ready Mustang with the new livery. He aptly posted the tweet with the caption "Ready to Rumble." For the unversed, Mahindra Automotive North America (MANA) was established in 2013 and is a comprehensive automotive design, engineering and vehicle development centre. It has developed offerings like the Roxor, apart from selling different products in the North American market.

Coming back to NASCAR, Mahindra AG North America announced its partnership with Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR) as an anchor sponsor for its No. 14 NASCAR Cup Series team. The is being driven by racer Chase Briscoe for the 2022 season. The multi-year partnership will feature on Briscoe's No. 14 Ford Mustang for the majority of the NASCAR Cup Series schedule wearing the red and black No. 14 Mahindra Tractors Ford Mustang.

The livery made its debut at the Busch Light Clash at the Coliseum on February 5, 2022, in Los Angeles. It had its big outing last weekend at the 64th Daytona 500 race last weekend at the Daytona International Speedway. And surely, the Mahindra sponsored team did well with Chase Briscoe bagging a podium finishing in third place. Meanwhile, the top two spots were taken by Penske driver Cindric Blaney in the Ford with a margin of just 0.036s over Bubba Wallace in the Toyota. Briscoe made for a closely finished third place 0.091s behind the race leader.
