Audi India Appoints Rahil Ansari As Head Of Operations

- Rahil Ansari will be the head of the operations from 1st February 2017
- Current head Joe King, will move back to Audi HQ in Germany
- Ansari was the head of global pricing for Audi Genuine Parts for Audi AG
Volkswagen group firm Audi has announced a top management change in India with the appointment of Rahil Ansari as head of the operations here with effect from 1st February 2017. Ansari will take over as Head of Audi India from the incumbent Joe King, who will move back to Audi headquarters in Germany.
Commenting on the change, Volkswagen Group Sales India Pvt Ltd (VWGSIPL) Managing Director Thierry Lespiaucq said: "We are pleased to announce the new Head for Audi in India, Rahil Ansari. He has previously served as Director of Network Development for Audi India and thus brings appreciation for this market."

Ansari has a broad range of experience in finance, sales, network development, retail operations and after sales business. "He moves to Audi India from AUDI AG, where he heads the global pricing for Audi Genuine Parts for AUDI AG Aftersales," the company said.

The Audi model range in India includes sedans Audi A3, Audi A4, Audi A6, Audi A8 along with SUVs Q3, Q5 and the Q7, among others. The carmaker also launched the new Audi R8 V10 Plus in India this year, which was named at the Supercar of They Year, while the Audi Q7 won the Luxury SUV Of The Year Award at out 2017 NDTV Car And Bike Awards.
