Auto Sales 2021: Audi Sells 3,293 Units In India, Reports 2-Fold Growth Against 2020

- Audi India sold 3,293 units during the 2021 calendar year
- Audi India saw 101% YoY growth over 1,693 units sold in 2020
- Audi India's first launch for 2022 will be the Q7 facelift
Audi India released its annual sales numbers for the 2021 calendar year, during which the company sold 3,293 units. Compared to last year, the Ingolstadt-based carmaker sold 1,693 units in 2020, thus witnessing a 101 per cent growth year-on-year. Audi India has said that this is the highest YoY growth it had achieved since 2008. However, this growth is not significant as in addition to the COVID-19 related challenges, the company carpark in 2020 was less than half of what it is today. So, this massive growth could be considered a one-off anomaly.
