The BMW F 450 GS is built around an all-new 450 cc, liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine expected to produce around 47 bhp and with strong low-end torque. The powerplant is made in India, to be manufactured by TVS Motor Company, as part of the partnership between the two brands. The F 450 GS was shown as a concept at last year’s EICMA show, where it grabbed a lot of attention.

Riding on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel combination, with wire-spoke tubeless rims, the BMW F 450 GS is built around a new chassis with an upside-down front fork and preload adjustable rear monoshock. On the features list, the F 450 GS is likely to come with all-LED lighting, multiple ride modes, cornering ABS, traction control and 6.5-inch TFT display. More details are expected from the EICMA 2025 show where the production model will be on display.

The new BMW F 450 GS is likely to be launched in India sometime in the second half of 2026. We expect prices to be under Rs. 5 lakh (Ex-showroom). Once launched, the BMW F 450 GS will compete with models like the Honda NX500, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, as well as the Benelli TRK 502.
