Showcased at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo, the Suzuki Gixxer will soon be launched in India as Suzuki dealers across India have started taking pre-orders for the bike. Though the company already has the GS150R in the 150cc segment, the Gixxer, a 155cc bike, will be a more affordable motorcycle. The new bike will take on the likes of Honda CB Trigger, Hero CBZ Xtreme and the new Yamaha FZ. The Gixxer features a 155cc, single cylinder, SOHC air-cooled engine that is capable of churning out a maximum power output of 13.7bhp and 14Nm of torque. Transmitting power to the rear wheel of the bike is a 5-speed gearbox.
