Car Sales July 2021: Hyundai Registers A Growth Of 45.9 Per Cent

- Hyundai Motor India sold 60,249 units in July 2021
- Month-on-month sales grew by grew by 10.60 per cent in June 2021
- Hyundai's SUV line-up remain strong contributors to the brand
Hyundai Motor India registered total sales of 60,249 units in July 2021. The company reported a growth of 45.9 per cent as compared to 41,300 units sold in July 2020. Domestic sales for the company stood at 48,042 units last month, registering a growth of 25.8 per cent, while exports were up by 293.8 per cent last month with 12,207 units shipped. In contrast, exports in July 2020 stood at 3100 units. Hyundai's strong sales growth comes on the back of a large UV line-up of products and continues to the momentum from June. On a month-on-month basis, Hyundai India's sales grew by 10.60 per cent when compared to 54,474 units in June this year.

Hyundai's exports went up by 293.8 per cent last month with 12,207 units shipped
Commenting on the July 2021 sales, Tarun Garg, Director - Sales, Marketing & Service, Hyundai Motor India said, 'Hyundai registered domestic sales of 48,042 units in July backed by the strong performance of our newly launched 6- and 7-seater SUV, The Hyundai Alcazar and our other segment defining products like Creta, i20 and Venue. A positive growth momentum is clearly visible in the Passenger Vehicle Industry with the stabilization of macro-economic factors, good monsoons and increase in consumer shift towards personal mobility.'
Hyundai introduced the Alcazar in India recently and the SUV is off to a good start. The company recently confirmed that the three-row SUV has garnered over 12,000 bookings only adding to the volumes for the company. Also completing 25 years in India in July, Hyundai inaugurated its sprawling new headquarters in Gurugram, Haryana.
