Ducati Panigale V4 SP Launched In India; Priced At Rs. 36.07 Lakh

Ducati India has launched the new top-of-the-line version in the Panigale V4 range with the new Panigale V4 SP. The 2021 Ducati Panigale V4 SP is priced at Rs. 36.07 lakh is placed above the V4 S that's priced at Rs. 28.40 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. The top-of-the-line Panigale V4 SP is the more track focussed version and benefits from several upgrades aimed towards weight savings. This includes new and lighter alloy wheels along with carbon fibre bodywork in some places that help shave off about 1.4 kg.

The 2021 Ducati Panigale V4 SP gets the pre-season Winter Test livery
Visually, the Ducati Panigale V4 SP gets the same design as the standard model but it differentiates itself from the special 'Winter Test' livery. The new livery is inspired by the pre-season MotoGP and World SBK motorcycles and sports a black paint scheme with red accents and a brushed-aluminium finish on the fuel tank. Other upgrades include the Marchesini forged magnesium wheels over the forged aluminium wheels on the V4 S, and are wrapped in Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP tyres. The model also comes with carbon fibre wings, heel guards, and a front fender. With all the upgrades, the dry weight now stands at 173 kg, which is 1 kg less than the V4 S.
Power, meanwhile, continues to come from the same 1103 cc, Desmosedici Stradale engine that belts out 211 bhp at 13,000 rpm and 124 Nm of peak torque at 9,500 rpm. The motor is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Suspension duties are handled by the semi-active Ohlins unit while braking performance comes from the top-notch Brembo units.

Ducati is also offering track accessories along with the Panigale V4 SP that includes an open carbon fibre clutch cover, a license plate removal plug, and machined mirror block-off plates. There's also the Ducati Data Analyzer+GPS module. The bike continues to come with a host of electronic aids including a quickshifter, riding and power modes, traction control, wheelie control, launch control and more.
