Force Motors Supplies 200 Trax Toofan To The Revenue And Forest Department Of Maharashtra

- The Trax Toofan MUVs will be used for COVID vaccination process
- The govt will ferry villagers from remote locations in Nagpur & Amravati
- Excluding the driver, the Trax Toofan and seat 11 passengers
Home-grown utility vehicle manufacture, Force Motors, has announced delivering 200 units of its multi-utility vehicle, the Trax Toofan, to the Revenue and Forest department of Maharashtra. The company says that the vehicles will be used by the concerned departments to speed up the vaccination process by ferrying villagers from remote locations in Nagpur and Amravati to the nearest primary healthcare centres. The vehicles were handed over to the Revenue and Forest department in the presence of Balasaheb Thorat, Minister for revenue of Maharashtra state and Nitin Raut, Minister for Energy and Guardian Minister of Nagpur, among other dignitaries.

Speaking on the occasion, Prasan Firodia, Managing Director, Force Motors Ltd. said, "The virus is now spreading to the hinterland and lack of transportation facilities in rural areas pose a big risk to the unvaccinated population. The State Government initiative to speed up vaccination by ferrying those residing in remote parts to the health centres is a commendable step. We are delighted that our TRAX Toofan vehicles will be involved in this life-saving mission." Adding about the vehicle, Ashutosh Khosla, President, Sales and Marketing said, "The Trax Toofan would ensure that the long-distance journeys on the rough rural roads will be most comfortable and fatigue-free".

The Force Trax Toofan is powered by a 2.6-litre four-cylinder diesel engine is tuned to make about 89 bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque
The Trax Toofan is built on Force's ground-up new modular utility vehicle platform with an all-new body, new interior, a new high strength C-in-C chassis, a new parabolic leaf spring suspension offering best in class space as well as riding comfort. The vehicle is powered by a Mercedes derived powertrain. The 2.6-litre four-cylinder Common Rail DI TCIC diesel engine is tuned to make about 89 bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque, while mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, which is standard.
In terms of creature comforts and safety features, the Trax Toofan comes with all four power windows, an optional air conditioning system, central locking, rear parking sensors, power steering, and ABS with EBD.
