Fuel prices have yet again gone up in India, and this is for the fourth consecutive day that we are seeing an upward revision. Today, on February 12, 2021, petrol prices in the nation's capital Delhi stand at Rs. 88.14 per litre, 29 paise more than a day before, while diesel is priced at Rs. 78.38 per litre, and that's 35 paise more than the previous day. At the same time, in Mumbai, petrol prices have touched Rs. 94.64 per litre, while diesel will cost you Rs. 85.32 per litre, which is an increment of 28 paise and 38 paise, respectively, compared to a day before. Petrol price in Mumbai is right now the highest among all metros.

As for the other major cities, in Kolkata, petrol prices today have touched Rs. 89.44 per litre, a hike of 28 paise compared to the previous day, while diesel rates have gone up by 35 paise, to Rs. 81.96 per litre. At the same time, in Chennai, petrol prices have reached Rs. 90.44 per litre, while diesel is priced at Rs. 83.52 per litre, a hike of 26 paise and 34 paise, respectively, compared to a day before.

Cumulatively in the last 12 days, the petrol and diesel prices in India have increased by up to nearly 4.26 per litre.

In Bengaluru, petrol prices stand at Rs. 91.09 per litre, 31 paise more than a day before, while diesel is priced at Rs. 83.09 per litre, and that's 37 paise more than the previous day. On the other hand, in Hyderabad, petrol prices today have touched Rs. 91.65 per litre, a hike of 30 paise compared to the previous day, while diesel rates have gone up by 39 paise, to Rs. 85.50 per litre.

In general, petrol rates have been increased by 26 paise to 34 paise a litre, while diesel prices have gone up in the range of 34 paise to 38 paise a litre, across all major cities in India. Cumulatively in the last 12 days, the petrol and diesel prices in India have increased by up to nearly 4.26 per litre.
