Hyundai Motor India Appoints Tarun Garg As New Director - Sales, Marketing & Service

- Tarun Garg has over 25 years experience in Marketing & Sales.
- He has worked with Maruti Suzuki prior to his new appointment.
- He has joined at the post which was earlie rheld by Rakesh Srivastava.
Hyundai Motor India today announced the appointment of Tarun Garg as the new Director- Sales, Marketing and Service at the Korean brand. Garg is an alumnus of Delhi College of Engineering and Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow and has over 25 years of experience in the field of Marketing, Sales and Network Development. He has also worked as an Executive Director- Marketing, Parts and Logistics at Maruti Suzuki India.

At Maruti Suzuki, Garg also played a key role in revamping the True Value business which is the used car venture of the automaker. Garg was the Senior Vice President and Head of Marketing at Maruti Suzuki India and was promoted to the position of Executive Director, Marketing in June, 2018. He was made the Senior Vice President in May 2016.

Garg has joined at the position which was previously held by Rakesh Srivastava, former Director- Marketing, Sales and Service at Hyundai Motor India. Coincidentally, even Garg has moved to Hyundai after serving for 15 years at Maruti Suzuki. He completed his six year long tenure at Hyundai in August 2018.
