KTM RC 200 and RC 390 Launching on September 9, 2014

Proving all the speculations right, Bajaj Auto has officially announced the launch of KTM RC 200 and RC 390 bikes in India. Both the bikes will go on sale on September 9, 2014 with bookings starting right after. However, the deliveries are expected to commence from October onwards.

What really sets the KTM RC 390 and RC 200 apart from their naked siblings is their styling. Both the bikes feature a fully-faired styling with add-ons like twin-headlamps, re-designed fuel tank, mirror mounted turn indicators, restyled tail section and a few more changes.

Powering the KTM RC 200 is a 200cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 25bhp and 19Nm of torque. Whereas, the RC 390 features a 372cc unit that is capable of churning out a maximum power output of 43bhp and 35Nm of torque. Transmitting power to the rear wheels of both the bikes is a six-speed gearbox.

Since, the RC models are slightly more feature-rich than the regular naked versions with different style, expect these two to be costing around Rs 40,000 - 50,000 more than the regular models.
