At the heart of this raging bull we have the same 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine that powers the regular Lamborghini Huracan. The monstrous engine is capable of churning out a maximum of 610bhp and develops a peak torque of 560Nm. Similarly the gearbox has also been retained, which is a 7-speed LDF dual-clutch transmission with shift characteristics variable via Drive Select Mode that propels the car from 0-100 kmph in mere 3.4 seconds before reaching a top speed of 324kmph.

With such kind of raw power under the hood the Huracan Spyder needs a strong structure as well, which is exactly what the Italian marque offers with a hybrid aluminium and carbon-fibre frame and a body made of made from aluminium, and composite material. This brings the total dry weight of the Lamborghini Spyder to 1,542 kg, which is 120 kg heavier than the standard model. Also with such massive power and the strong structure you need the right kind of braking power, which is offered by the dual hydraulic circuit brake system with vacuum brake booster. Both front and rear units come with carbo-ceramic brakes, with 6-cylinder brake calipers and 4-cylinder brake calipers respectively.

The car will be launched in Mumbai at the inauguration of its new showroom in the city located at Prabhadevi area. While the actual price of the car will be revealed at the launch, we expect the new Lamborghini Huracan Spyder to be come with a price tag around Rs. 3.5 Crore.
