Mahindra launches the 9-seater Xylo D2 Maxx

Mahindra introduced a new 9-seater version of its successful Xylo MPV called Xylo D2 Maxx, which comes fitted with a 2.5 litre mDI CRDe engine generating 93.7bhp and a fuel economy of 14.95kpl.

    Mahindra launched a 9-seater variant of the Xylo MPV called the Xylo D2 Maxx. The launch comes a couple of days after Ashok Leyland's foray into the MPV segment with the Stile. Targeted mainly at fleet operators, the Xylo Maxx comes with 9 seats which translate into a third row side-facing seat.

    Under the hood Mahindra has given the D2 Maxx a 2.5 litre mDI CRDe engine which churns out 93.7bhp that also does its duty in various other products. This engine delivers an ARAI-rated fuel economy figure of 14.95kpl.

    Mahindra has priced the Xylo D2 Maxx at Rs 7.12 lakh for the BS-III variant.
