Mahindra Scorpio Adventure Edition Launched at Rs. 13.07 Lakh

- A limited number of only 1,000 vehicles to be manufactured
- Is based on the range-topping S10 variant of the new-gen Scorpio
- Will be offered only with manual transmission in both 2WD and 4WD options

As mentioned above, the new Mahindra Scorpio Adventure is based on the standard S10 variant and will all the features offered in range-topping model. In addition to that Mahindra has also added a range of new features and equipment, a number of which the company claims will be seen in the Scorpio range for the first time. Some of these new features include - Gun Metal alloy wheels, ORVMs with side indicators, distinctive and stylish 'Smoked' tail lamps, and the new Mist Silver and White dual-tone exteriors with adventure-themed graphics among other small additions. Apart from these SUV remains quite similar to the standard version in terms of design and proportions.

The list of features is not just limited to the exterior profile as the cabin of the new Scorpio Adventure has also been updated. The limited edition model receives now comes with new faux leather seats with blue fabric insert along with faux leather-wrapped steering wheel & gear lever and rear view camera along with Adventure badging on the dashboard. Rest all features are similar to ones seen in the standard S10 variant. Moreover, the Scorpio Adventure is available in both 2-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive options and will be offered only with a manual transmission.

Based on the S10 variant, the new Mahindra Scorpio Adventure will be powered by both the 2.2-litre mHawk only, which means the new Adventure edition will not be available for sale in Delhi. The engine offers the same power output of 120bhp and a peak torque of 280Nm. As mentioned earlier transmission options will include on the 5-speed manual gearbox as standard in both the 2WD and 4WD models.

The limited edition Scorpio Adventure is in keeping with the lineage and DNA of the brand and I am sure that it will further strengthen the appeal of Scorpio as the perfect companion on long road trips and off-roading adventures."
