







































The Maruti Suzuki Baleno is based on the company's new-generation platform that has been built to efficiently increase vehicle's rigidity while reducing its weight via redesign of the under-body structure and optimising overall vehicle design.

Just like the S-Cross, the Baleno too will be launched in four trim levels - Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha. Engine options on offer will be a 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.3-litre multijet diesel, both of which also power the Swift and Dzire. The vehicle will be launched with both a 5-speed manual and a CVT automatic gearbox.
With 3,995mm length, 1,745mm width, 1,500 height and a wheelbase of 2,520mm, the Maruti Baleno will be one of the most spacious cars in its league. Upon its launch, the Maruti Baleno will take on the likes of Hyundai i20, Honda Jazz and Volkswagen Polo.
