Maruti Suzuki To Increase Vehicle Prices From January 2022
Highlights
Maruti Suzuki India today announced that it will be increasing the prices of its cars from January 2022. The company said in a statement that over the past year its vehicles continue to be adversely impacted due to increase in various input costs and this is the sole reason for the company to raise the prices of its cars.
The company launched the Celerio last month
The increase in inputs costs will certainly impact prices of cars and the company will pass on some of the impact of the above additional costs to customers through a price hike. The increase shall vary for different models.
The company, however, has not yet announced the quantum hike of price and neither has it said anything about whether the rise in cost will be across the portfolio of the company. As we close in on the new year, Maruti Suzuki has big plans for the Indian market and this includes launches like the new Baleno, Vitara Brezza and most likely the Jimny too.
