New BMW X6 Launched in India

The new BMW X6's exterior comprises a wide kidney grille, large front air inlets with horizontal chrome trims, horizontal lines, and rear L-shaped tail-lights with three-dimensional LED Adaptive Light. Inside, it gets the hallmark BMW driver oriented design of the cockpit, the innovative control and display elements, elevated seating position and lines which streak dynamically from the instrument panel into the door panels to form a ring around the interior. Special interior colours, exclusive trims and standard Dakota or optional Nappa leather upholstery.

The German carmaker will provide a choice of 5 colour options, namely, Alpine White (non-metallic), Carbon Black, Flamenco Red Brilliant Effect, Space Grey, and Mineral White.
The X6 derives power from the TwinPower turbo 6-cylinder in-line diesel engine that puts out 313bhp along with a maximum torque of 600Nm. It comes mated to a new 8-speed sport automatic transmission that allows that car to accelerate from 0-100Km/h in just 5.8 seconds on its way to a top-speed of 240Km/h.

The list of safety provisions on the X6 includes 6 airbags, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Hill Descent Control (HDC), Side-Impact protection, Electronic vehicle immobilizer, and crash sensor.
