New Hyundai Venue Launch Highlights: Price, Specification, Details, Images

Before Hyundai reveals prices for the new Venue, here’s a quick look at everything we know so far.

The new-generation Hyundai Venue retains the familiar silhouette of its predecessor but now sports a sharper, more defined look inspired by Hyundai’s global SUV design language.

The front of the new Venue now sports a full-width LED light bar that merges into the quad LED headlamp setup.

It continues to ride on 16-inch alloy wheels, but they now feature a fresh new design.

At the rear, the Venue retains the connected LED tail-light theme, but the design has been sharpened with sleeker, more angular tail lamps.

In terms of size, it’s grown noticeably. The new Venue stands 1,665 mm tall (48 mm taller), 1,800 mm wide (30 mm wider), and has a 2,520 mm wheelbase, which is 20 mm longer than the outgoing version.

The cabin has been completely redesigned, featuring a new dashboard layout and a three-spoke steering wheel with four illuminated dots.

The highlight inside is the curved panoramic display that merges two 12.3-inch screens. The dashboard houses slim horizontal AC vents in the centre and vertical AC vents at either end.

Most in-car controls still get physical buttons, and there’s a handy shelf above the glovebox for small-item storage.

Powertrain options have been carried over, and it continues with the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel, paired with the same manual, automatic, and dual-clutch automatic gearbox options as before.

One change to the running gear is that the 1.5-litre diesel engine now comes with an automatic transmission option.

Tarun Garg revealed that Hyundai has sold over 7 lakh units of the Venue so far. He also confirmed that the new-generation Venue marks the first of 26 upcoming Hyundai launches planned through 2030.

The new Venue will be the first model to roll out from Hyundai’s upcoming manufacturing facility in Talegaon, Maharashtra. It will be produced exclusively in India and exported to over 30 international markets.

As mentioned earlier, the second-generation Venue introduces a new addition to its lineup: a diesel engine paired with an automatic transmission.

The new Venue comes equipped with 16 Level 2 ADAS features and over 30 standard safety systems.

Here it is, say hello to the all-new, second-generation Hyundai Venue sharing the stage with its N Line derivative.

Hyundai has launched the new Venue at an ex-showroom starting price of Rs 7.90 lakh. Full prices are yet to be announced.
