Nissan's new dealership, Ritu Nissan at Bhandup West, Mumbai was inaugurated by Guillaume Sicard, President - Nissan India Operations. Nissan will now have a network of 159 sales touch-points, spanning across 113 cities for both Nissan and Datsun vehicles.

The dealership is spread across 3000 sq.ft of showroom space and will be home to the entire range of Nissan and Datsun cars. Nissan had announced its strategy a while back and it was looking to double its presence to 300 touch points by 2016.

The company recently launched the Datsun Go+ MPV and according to Sicard, the car has received a good response. The only way to get this car to the consumers is to expand the dealerships and that strategy seems to fall into place

Speaking on the occasion, Sicard said, "Nissan's strategy for continued and significant growth in India is underpinned by our commitment to providing customers with a superior ownership experience. This is backed by our continuous expansion of dealership outlets nationwide."
