The deliveries of the LaFerrari - the Ferrari production that offers the most extreme performance by the 'Prancing Horse' first started in the second-half of 2013. Considering how special this car is to both, the carmaker and the owners, Ferrari deemed it befitting to profile the buyers.

Fun fact: Ferrari will make only 499 units of the the LaFerrari.

The latest issue of Ferrari's official magazine carried a rather touching story that involved a LaFerrari and a Swiss artist. Cornelia Hagmann, a Swiss artist, has nurtured a passion for Ferraris for many years now, thanks to her husband - Walter Hagmann, who also happened to be a leading Ferrari collector. Walter ordered a Rosso Corsa example of the supercar for Cornelia, but unfortunately passed away a little over a year ago; before the magnificent gift could be delivered.

The Ferrari prodigy derives its power from the 6262cc V12 engine that develops 790bhp and a 25.7kg electric motor that adds another 160bhp. The combined output of this beaut is a whopping 950bhp and costs about $1.6 million.
