Royal Enfield Commences Road Side Assistance Program in India

- RSA can be availed by owners with bikes not older than 5 years for free
- The RSA service provides coverage for breakdowns, flat tyre, accidents
- RSA will also tow your vehicle to the nearest service centre, if required
The Road side Assistance program is available for a year from the date of sale of your Royal Enfield motorcycle and provides coverage all across the country. The service though is free of cost for new owners, while customers with bikes older than three years can purchase the service for a price of Rs. 800. Customers with bikes older than five years will need to pay Rs. 1000 for availing the program. The RSA package is available for purchase at any of the authorised RE showrooms and service centres.

The RSA program is applicable on all Royal Enfield motorcycles
Talking about coverage, the Royal Enfield RSA program will be of your assistance in case of a breakdown, flat tyre, battery drainage or accident. If the vehicle is not repairable at the moment and becomes immobilised, the program also makes arrangements to tow the vehicle to the nearest Royal Enfield service centre within a distance of 100 km, free of cost.
Furthermore, the Royal Enfield RSA program offers on-site repairs at the location of the breakdown free of cost and will only charge for spares and consumables, if required, to repair the bike on the spot. The RSA package also provides to recharge your battery in case it is completely drained, while five litres of fuel can also be made available, if the bike runs out of fuel. Charges for the latter though are to be borne by the rider.
RSA services have been made popular by premium bike makers in the country and Royal Enfield is the latest of the lot to join the bandwagon. The service is certainly appreciable and comes in handy for riders, irrespective of how well maintained their bike is. Apart from RE, Mahindra is one the few mass market players to offer the service on its Mojo tourer.
