Skoda Kodiaq Facelift Spotted Testing Sans Camouflage

- The Kodiaq facelift is likely to be launched around the festive season

The updated 2021 Skoda Kodiaq facelift is one of the highly-awaited cars in India. The SUV is expected to go on sale in the country around the festive period. Skoda unveiled the 2021 Skoda Kodiaq globally earlier this year. Only a few months after its global debut, the Kodiaq facelift has been spied testing in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. As seen in the spy images, the test mule was captured on camera without camouflage donning a Grey colour, similar to the one offered on the Superb.

The Skoda Kodiaq facelift will get a new face featuring the blacked-out butterfly grille
The Skoda Kodiaq facelift is likely to come in two trims - Sportline and Laurin and Klement. The SUV gets an updated face, which includes the new multi-slat blacked-out butterfly grille, flanked by a pair of sleek LED headlamps, and a new LED DRLs. The Kodiaq also gets new fog lamps, a new bumper, new alloy wheels, a roof-mounted spoiler, sculpted tailgate, new sharp-looking wraparound LED taillamps and a muscular rear bumper.
The overall layout and design of the cabin is expected to remain the same. These spy images give us a glimpse of the interior. The SUV will get a three-spoke, leather-wrapped steering wheel, a 9.2-inch infotainment system, a 10.25-inch instrument cluster, wireless charging, three-zone climate control and more.

The 2021 Skoda Kodiaq will come to India as a Completely Built Unit (CBU). It is likely to be powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder TSI engine, which also powers the Superb and Octavia sedans in Skoda India's line-up. The engine is tuned to develops 187 bhp and 320 Nm of peak torque, and comes paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission as standard.
