Skoda Kushaq Turns One; Features And Prices Updated

Skoda Auto India commenced its India 2.0 journey with the launch of the Skoda Kushaq compact SUV which is now a year older in the Indian market. To celebrate this occasion, the Czech carmaker has updated the Skoda Kushaq with new features but at a premium. In fact, the Skoda Kushaq is now available with more features than it was launched with. The Skoda Kushaq compact SUV is offered with two turbo petrol engines in both manual and automatic gearbox options and takes on the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, MG Astor, as well as the upcoming Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder and the recently unveiled Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.

The Skoda Kushaq compact SUV gets a new headliner in the cabin and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TMPS) as standard across the range.

The Skoda Kushaq compact SUV gets a new headliner in the cabin and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TMPS) as standard across the range. Moreover, all variants powered by the 1.0 TSI are equipped with the start-stop recuperation system as standard, improving fuel efficiency by 7-9 per cent. The interiors now get an 8-inch infotainment system with knobs and buttons for select functions increasing ergonomics and ease of use for the driver.

The Czech carmaker has updated the Skoda Kushaq with new features but at a premium.
Another addition is the Style trim with sunroofs which sits between Ambition and Style variants. This variant is based on the 1.0 TSI Style and offers a 4-dial medium analogue instrument cluster coupled to only a 6-speed manual transmission. The top-of-the-line Style variant with the sunroof is now upgraded with an 8-inch virtual cockpit for the driver's instrument console in place of analogue dials.
