TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Single-Channel ABS Version Launched In Nepal

TVS Motor Company has launched the brand's new TVS Apache RTR 200 4V with single-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system) in Nepal. The Apache RTR 200 4V comes with three riding modes, Sport, Urban and Rain, as well as first-in-segment adjustable suspension. The bike gets the same 198 cc, single-cylinder, four-valve, oil-cooled engine that develops 20.54 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 18.1 Nm of peak torque at 7,000 rpm. The intelligent riding mode system enables riders to shift between the three riding modes on the fly, using the ride mode switch on the handlebar.

The adjustable front fork from Showa is a segment-first feature and allows for better adaptability to road and track conditions

Power output varies as per the riding mode. The engine offers the maximum output of 20.54 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 17.25 Nm of peak torque at 7,250 rpm while in the sport mode and the claimed top speed is 127 kmph. In the rain and urban mode, the power and torque drop down to 17 bhp at 7800 rpm and 16.51 Nm at 5750 rpm. The top speed too drops down to 105 kmph.

The motorcycle will now be equipped with first-in-segment adjustable suspension. The high-performance Showa front suspension comes with a preloaded adjustment that allows the rider to choose between a plush ride or track ride, while the new Showa rear suspension is tuned for enhanced track performance. It comes with adjustable brakes and clutch levers with 3-step-adjustment. The new TVS Apache RTR 200 4V motorcycle with single-channel ABS will be available in three colours: Gloss Black, Pearl White, and the newly launched Matte Blue, inspired by the TVS OMC race bike.
