Visit Mandarmani from Kolkata by Road

Situated in the state of West Bengal, India. Mandarmani is also known as one of the most beautiful seaside resort villages in West Bengal. It is one of the places which you can reach in 3.5 to 4 hours by car. Before people were allowed to drive on the beach but now the local police restrict any private vehicle from being driven on the beach. They have constructed a proper road which helps the people visiting this place reach their resorts easily.

Mandarmani was first known to be Mandarboni and also named Madar Mani but eventually with time the name evolved and was commonly known as Mandarmani. Mandarmani is a 13 km long sea beach and it is approximately 180 km from Kolkata Airport. It is a sea beach of Digha which is also an attractive sea beach in the state of West Bengal. Mandarmani is located under the Contai Subdivision area and it is sometimes even said that it is the longest drivable sea beach in India though no sources confirm that. It is also said that Mandarmani has comparatively lower waves than Digha sea beach. Mandarmani is more famous because of red crabs which you will find crawling all over the beach. The total area of Mandarmani is around 24.36 km which is also very fascinating.
