2014 Nissan Sunny Facelift to Get More Features

Unveiled at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo, the Nissan Sunny facelift is being launched today. The updated model of the mid-sized sedan has two engine options and three trim levels.
Exterior changes on the new 2014 Nissan Sunny include a new trapezoid grille with chrome garnishing, redesigned bumpers, sporty headlights, new fog lamps, a new pair of alloys and a small bootlid spoiler with a stoplight.

Moving on to the cabin, the new steering wheel with audio controls and telephony, and centre console with piano black finish are the most obvious changes. The 2-DIN audio system, rearview camera, start-stop button, electric ORVMs with turn indicators display and rear AC vent are the other features on offer. Other than that, safety features like driver airbags, ABS, EBD and Brake Assist are standard provisions. Also, the top-end variant of the Sunny facelift is offered with two optional accessory packs: Premium pack 1 and Premium pack 2.
Premium pack 1 includes leather upholstery, leather gear knob and leather steering, while Premium pack 2 gets side airbags in addition to the features offered with Premium pack 1. In terms of specifications, the new Sunny facelift continues to use the 1.5L petrol and diesel engines. While the diesel model comes mated to just a 5-speed manual transmission, the petrol variant is also offered with an optional CVT gearbox.
