BMW showed off the new face of the X6 recently and now has released the first pictures of the 2015 X6 equipped with the M Sport package. It is essentially all about giving the crossover a bit more pizzaz with an aerodynamic package and a bump in power.
The M Sport version gets an aerodynamic body kit that includes a new front bumper, revised side skirts and a rear diffuser insert. Then there is the matte aluminium grille, chrome exhaust tips and body colour wheel arches. Since BMW has to give it an M factor the Adaptive M suspension and 19-inch lightweight alloy wheels also are part of the deal.
The sorty credentials continue inside the cabin too and the model gets leather / Alcantara sport seats, a sport steering wheel and aluminium hexagon trim. The package also adds an anthracite roof liner, an alloy footrest and M-branded door sill plates.
The engine ofcourse is the tri-turbocharged 3.0-litre six-cylinder diesel engine that develops around 381bhp and 740 Nm torque. It zooms to 100km/h in 5.2 seconds and boasts of a top speed of 250 km/h.
