Nissan Note Nismo and Nismo S Details Revealed

It was way back in July when we first told you about the Nissan Note Nismo, but then technical details about the car evaded us. Now, Nissan has given out a fair amount of detail about the Note Nismo and the Note Nismo S. Also, both the performance-tuned hatchbacks have already gone on sale in Japan.
We've told you about the sporty looks of the car, so let's concentrate on the engines that have been used. The Note Nismo uses a 1.2-litre inline-four and CVT transmission, while the Nismo S version is offered with a tuned 1.6-litre motor paired with a 5-speed manual.
The upgrade to the 1.6-litre engine means it puts out 138hp, an growth of 29 horses from the stock 109. Additionally, the Note NISMO S receives four-wheel disc brakes and a higher-flowing intake and exhaust system than the Note NISMO.
Though the suspension has improved on both the cars, the S gets a host of chassis-stiffening braces too. The top-spec version rides on 17-inch alloys while the regular Nismo gets 16-inch wheels. Four colours are on offer - white, black silver and gray.
