2021 Triumph Speed Twin Price Expectation In India

- New Triumph Speed Twin expected to be priced at around Rs. 9.75 lakh
- New Speed Twin gets a tweaked engine, new suspension and brakes
- Tweaked steering geometry, new wheels and Metzeler tyres
The 2021 Triumph Speed Twin will be launched in India soon, and that is when prices for the updated Speed Twin will be announced. The new Speed Twin is gets significant updates, with a tweaked engine with higher performance, better handling, and some cosmetic and minor design changes as well, along with new suspension and braking hardware. Even though the overall silhouette remains the same, the changes are in the details, and under the skin, with new engine internals, a wider powerband, and reduction in inertia.

The 1,200 cc high-power, parallel-twin engine makes 99 bhp at 7,250 rpm and 112 Nm at 4,250 rpm
The 1,200 cc Bonneville 'high power' parallel-twin engine now makes 99 bhp at 7,250 rpm and 112 Nm at 4,250, and comes with a 500 rpm higher redline than before, and the peak torque coming in 500 rpm lower in the revs. Other updates include new Marzocchi suspension, higher-spec braking hardware, as well as a revised steering geometry. The17-inch lightweight cast aluminium wheels feature a new 12-spoke design, and are shod with new Metzeler Racetec RR tyres, which offer better grip, precision and high-speed stability.

Road, Rain and Sport modes enhanced, and details are updated as well, with new graphics, and 3D twin clocks with built-in LCD screens
The Speed Twin gets three riding modes, Rain, Road and Sport, which have also been enhanced for 2021, adjusting both the throttle response and traction control settings to suit the rider's preference. The riding modes can be changed on the move, and the traction control can be switched off completely through the instrument menu.

The 2021 Triumph Speed Twin now gets 43 mm Marzocchi forks, with cartridge damping, a revised steering geometry and Metzeler tyres
The 2019 Triumph Speed Twin was priced at Rs. 9.46 lakh (Ex-showroom), and even with the new updates, the price is not expected to be hiked significantly. We expect Triumph India to still price the Street Twin competitively, and even with the updates, the price hike won't be significant, and it's expected to be priced under Rs. 10 lakh. In our estimates, the new Speed Twin will be priced at around Rs. 9.75 lakh (Ex-showroom).
